Hi guys – I am working to find the bug that is making LSR v4 only work intermittently for some users. If you are affected by this issue, please email me (luke@lukepaynesoftware.com) if you are able to run some tests for me. If LSR v4 works fine for you, I would love to hear from you also, and you are, of course, free to keep using it. For those of you this version isn’t working correctly for, you are able to revert to v3.2, by downloading it HERE. Just run the installer and it will replace v4. I have decided to replace the main download link with v3.2 for now also. I will keep you updated, however it may be a few weeks before I am able to put back up v4.

I am happy to announce and release version 4 of Logon Screen Rotator. There are no major features in this version, but it is well worth the upgrade! There have been a few minor annoyances fixed and the overall layout and flow of the application has been simplified.

A bug has been identified in v3.1 where any trigger involving “each logon” may not be set correctly, resulting in Logon Screen Rotator not being launched at logon.

Logon Screen Rotator v3.1 Issue

Thanks everyone for the feedback, it appears something has slipped through testing and is affecting use of version 3.1 for some people. I am working on getting this fixed. For now I have have taken down this version and replaced it with the one before. For those who have upgraded, it should be a matter of reinstalling this earlier version.

I apologize to all, and will hopefully have this rectified shortly.

This release is ENGLISH ONLY, as I am still working with some of the translators on tweaking a few things.

Logon Screen Rotator and Peek Through updates

Within the next week both Logon Screen Rotator and Peek Through will be receiving updates.

Logon Screen Rotator

Code changes to make it cleaner, lighter and potentially faster.
Bug Fix: An issue where settings were not being preserved when upgrading to a new version.
Bug Fix: Users on a domain may have trouble using the latest LSR version due to some code changes, this has now been rectified. (A big thank you to Peter van der Weiden who found this issue and through a load of testing helped get the issue rectified).
Bug Fix: The deep folder search setting would not work when changing the logon screen automatically.
Chinese version.

Peek Through

Will now have the ability to automatically make certain windows transparent.

As always if there is anything you would like to see included in one of my applications or you happen to come across a bug, I would love to hear about it!

Most of the new features I put in to the applications have been suggested by users, just like yourself.

Hi everyone – another update. This time addressing an issue where if you came from using version 2 or from using another logon screen editing utility, v3 may not change the logon screen for you. This build will fix that issue.

Please note, if you are upgrading from an earlier version that you will need to reselect your ‘Change Interval’ under the settings tab.

As usual you can download from HERE. This will automatically update your older version or you can install fresh if you have no previous versions.

Changes include:
* Changing the image would not work in some circumstances, these have now been rectified.
* The updating system has been changed. (So those coming from any version 2 builds will no longer be able to access the update system, and those from prior v3 releases will have to manually launch installer.)
* Added a new schedule option, at both logon and lock screen.
* A few minor bug fixes and UI tweaks.
