I can’t get this to work.

    Windows 7 Professional x64
    .NET Version 3.5.30729.4926 (SP1)

Whenever I click “Change Now” the status text just says “Unsuccessfully changed image(s)”. Same thing happens when trying to change to an image directly.

I try to change the Change Interval to Computer Lock & Login then close and I get this error:

    —————————
    Logon Screen Rotator
    —————————
Unable to create Task Scheduler task for Logon Screen Rotator.

Detailed:The specified procedure could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007F)
    —————————
    OK
    —————————

This happens even if ran as admin. Is it because I am on 64 bit or do not have some specific dll registered?

    Hi there GluedHands,

I am curious, do you get the same ‘Unable to create Task Scheduler task….’ if you select another option on the list?

Is the the first time you have run any version of LSR and have you used any other logon screen changing applications?

    Thanks – Luke

It looks like I only get it if I have pressed the Change Now then attempt to close. But only if the Change Interval is not “None”.

First time installing it. New Windows install last week actually.

I did try Julien Manici’s “Windows 7 Logon Background Changer” but it didn’t have the auto change functions yours has. Which is why I’d rather use this one.

I also have the unsuccessfully change image(s) message when trying to apply it.
    Windows 7 Pro 32bit
I am on a domain which I know has been a problem in the past. I also tried it as the local admin account and it didn’t work either.
If there is anything i can do to help out with the process please shoot me an email.

I’d like to report the same. This isn’t my first background changer- I use the same as GluedHands used to, but it is the first time I’ve used yours.

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I had one pop-up error, but it closed itself too quickly for me to see what it said. Then, i was trying to add new images and possibly confused the app.
The rest were when I tried various images and file/resolution sizes. None worked.

Slightly different problem in my case. I used an earlier version of this product (worked fine), which then just stopped. Downloaded the new version, and it just gives the unable to change message. No pop-ups, nothing. Tried a full clear of the app (remove & delete), and got the first time user wizard. Still get “unable to change”.

I am also getting the “Unsuccessfully changed image” message on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit version.
Used earlier version of LSR successfully until upgrade to current version.
Hope you will be able to fix.

    Same issue. “Unsuccessfully changed image(s)”

When I start the program, it reloads all the images every time (is it supposed to do this? I’d think they would be stored somewhere) and no matter what the settings, if I try to change the image, I get that error message.

I’ve also used that other program, but this is the one I really wish would work.

Should have been in previous post:

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    AMD Athlon II X4 630
    6 GB RAM

Thanks, guys. I am working on it and should have it re-released shortly. For now please download and use the prior version.
